Mara Del Baldo is Associate Professor of Business Administration and Economics of Sustainability and Accountability at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo, Urbino, Italy, Department of Economics, Society and Politics.
Her main research interests include: entrepreneurship and small businesses management; networking strategies; Corporate Social Responsibility, sustainability and business ethics; social and environmental accounting (SEAR), integrated reporting; accounting and gender and accounting and religion.
She is a member of the Association for the study of small and medium sized businesses (ASPI), the Research Center on Entreprenership and Small-Mid-sized enterprises (CRIMPI), the European Council for Small Business, the Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR), the European SPES Institute (Spirituality in Economy), the Global Corporate Governance Institute (GCI), position: Academic Advisory Commitee) and the European Business Ethics Network (EBEN) Italian Chapter. She is also part of the GBS (Italian Group for the study and development of social balance), the NIBR (Italian Network of Business Reporting) and member of leading Italian Scientific Associations on Accounting such as SIDREA (Italian Society of Business Administration and Acccounting) and SISR (Italian Society of Accounting History). Since 2012 she is a member of AFECA (Association de Formations Européennes à la Comptabilité et à l’Audit), a stable network with worldwide contribution. She is editorial board member and reviewer of several international scientific journals. She has authored several scientific publications, including articles in Italian and foreign journals, chapters books and conference proceedings. She performed lectures and didactic seminars on invitation in various Italian and foreign universities (University of Vigo, Spain, the Jurai Dobrila University of Pula, Croazia, the New Bulgarian University of Sofia, Bulgaria and the Corvinus University, Budapest, Hungaria).
